Effective date: 15 October 2026.
“Working days” means Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays.
These terms describe the standard automated media-pack and editor offer where expressly included in your order. Services labelled coming soon are not supplied until available and included in an accepted order. Bespoke production, human review and interactive training are governed by the scope and timetable agreed in your quotation. An enquiry alone is not an order.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers purchases from Loresson Limited trading as Loresson, including the generated media package and the included LoreCut access. Contact support@loresson.com with your order reference.
This policy covers business customers and individuals purchasing as consumers. Applicable consumer cancellation rights and remedies are additional to any commercial remedies stated here.
Nothing in this policy restricts statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
What you purchase
Your order describes the media and services included. Standard media generation is automated, without independent human content review. The package includes at least 80 seconds of AI-generated footage per purchased minute of course duration, providing material from which you can select and assemble your course.
Individual clips may contain visual imperfections or vary in suitability. We do not guarantee that every clip is suitable for your final edit or that automated assembly produces a finished course suitable for your intended use without review and adjustment.
You must arrange appropriate factual and specialist verification before using generated material, particularly for safety or compliance training. This requirement does not remove our responsibility to deliver the agreed package.
Delivery and access
We aim to make your standard automated media pack available within 12 hours after ordering. It may be ready sooner, but generation depends on third-party services and provider outages can delay delivery. We notify you when your package is ready and provide download instructions. Bespoke enterprise delivery dates are agreed in the quotation.
If we cannot deliver your paid-for standard media pack within 10 working days after ordering, we will refund the amount paid for that undelivered pack. This includes generation prevented by a third-party provider outage. This refund commitment does not limit applicable statutory rights.
Downloads and cloud backup availability end 60 days after purchase. Our retention policy is to delete uploaded source files and generated files, including our backup copies of that content, after that period. LoreCut access lasts 30 days from the first click on the course-pack download button, whether or not the download completes. These are separate periods: a first click on the download button on day 50 gives editor access until day 80, while cloud availability ends on day 60. Keep local source files and export before editor access ends.
Reporting a delivery or functionality problem
Please contact support@loresson.com with your order reference, a description of the issue and the affected files or editor function. Where relevant, include your operating system, Chrome version and error message. Avoid sending unrelated personal information or confidential materials. Contact support first to arrange review of any necessary confidential files.
Report issues promptly so we can investigate while relevant files and logs remain available. This request does not shorten any applicable statutory time limit.
We assess refund requests within five working days after receiving the necessary details and examples. If further information is needed, we will identify what is required for the assessment. Approved refunds are initiated within five working days of approval, as explained below. These timeframes do not extend any applicable statutory deadline.
How we assess the issue
We consider whether the agreed package was supplied and the significance of the problem to that package. We do not decide eligibility by counting a percentage of imperfect or unusable clips.
Relevant problems include missing promised assets or footage quantity; corrupt or inaccessible files; material departures from the agreed brief or package description; and failure of promised editor functionality in a supported environment.
Individual clips can contain AI-generated visual anomalies, including unnatural movement or interactions with objects. Some clips may be unsuitable for your chosen edit. The presence of several imperfect or unsuitable clips does not, by itself, determine whether the package is materially defective or entitle you to a refund. The package supplies additional footage for selection and editing; our assessment considers the package as a whole, the agreed brief, the significance of the issue and whether suitable alternative material is available within the supplied package.
Depending on the scene, editing options may include asking LoreCut to adjust the assembly, choosing alternative supplied footage, using a suitable still from a clip, or using a supplied learning card. These options are suggestions, not a requirement to work around missing essential content or a restriction on applicable remedies.
If you believe an issue materially affects the package, contact support@loresson.com with specific examples and explain how it affects the agreed content. Ordinary visual variation and personal aesthetic preferences are different from a failure to supply the agreed package. We do not dismiss a complaint merely because the content is AI-generated, require a fixed percentage of defective clips, or treat additional footage as a substitute for missing essential content. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
Where the package does not meet the contract, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may involve bringing the content or service into conformity, a proportionate price reduction or termination and a refund. A serious defect may give a consumer an immediate remedy; we do not require an opportunity to correct where the law does not permit that condition.
We may need information to distinguish a service defect from unavailable local source files, insufficient storage, unsupported browser use or a changed brief. Such investigation does not create an automatic exclusion from remedies.
Cancellation and changes of mind
Generation begins automatically when payment succeeds and incurs production costs. Once generation has begun, we do not offer a discretionary refund solely because you change your mind or no longer want the course. This commercial rule does not affect any statutory cancellation right that remains available, or remedies for non-delivery, defects or other failures covered by this policy.
Cancellation or change-of-mind rules do not remove rights concerning defective or undelivered content or services.
Consumer cancellation rights
If you are an individual buying mainly for purposes outside your trade or profession, an online digital-content or service contract generally carries a 14-day cancellation period from conclusion of the contract, subject to the applicable legal exceptions. Our no-discretionary-refund rule does not remove that right.
For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the right to cancel can be lost only where the legal conditions are met, including your prior express consent to beginning supply during the cancellation period, acknowledgment of the resulting loss of the right, and the required contract confirmation. For services, starting work alone does not end the cancellation right: any lawful proportionate charge or loss of the right after full performance depends on the separate legal requirements. We will not treat payment, acceptance of general terms or clicking download alone as satisfying all these requirements.
To cancel, send a clear statement to support@loresson.com or to Loresson Limited, Acorn House, Lowtown, Robertstown, Naas, County Kildare, Ireland before the applicable deadline. You may use this form, but do not have to: “I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service or digital content], ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Order reference: [reference]. Date: [date].” Include a signature only if sending the form on paper.
For a valid statutory cancellation, reimbursement is made without undue delay and within the applicable legal period, normally 14 days from receiving your cancellation notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Any lawful deduction for services already supplied must satisfy the applicable conditions.
Changes to the brief and separate review services
A request for different subject matter, style or scope after the brief is agreed may be additional work. Any additional paid work requires agreement on scope and price.
Bespoke enterprise services are custom-priced following an enquiry. Expert review, professional editing, content creation and bespoke interactive training are included only to the extent expressly agreed in the accepted quotation. Standard automated generation does not include these human services.
AI editing allowance and access expiry
The included AI editing allowance is worth 10% of the purchase price excluding VAT or sales tax. Any unused allowance expires when the 30-day editor-access period ends. Manual editing remains available during the editor period after the allowance is exhausted. Applicable statutory remedies remain unaffected.
AI editing attempts use third-party services and may consume allowance even if they are unsuccessful or do not produce a satisfactory result. An unsatisfactory or unsuccessful outcome does not by itself entitle you to restored allowance or unlimited free retries. When the allowance is exhausted, further AI editing under that allowance stops; manual editing remains available during the remaining editor-access period. This does not exclude applicable statutory remedies or correction of billing errors.
Refund payment and complaints
We initiate approved refunds to the original payment method within five working days of approval. Your payment provider or bank may take additional time to make the funds available. This processing commitment does not extend any applicable statutory refund deadline.
We aim to help resolve genuine problems with your package. Contact support@loresson.com with your order reference and specific examples. Our support team will arrange a review of the reported issue and assess whether a refund is due under this policy or applicable law. We will explain the outcome and the reasons for our assessment.
If you disagree with the assessment, contact support@loresson.com with the reasons and any further relevant information. Our final response concludes our internal review; it does not limit your statutory rights or your ability to pursue any available external dispute-resolution process or court remedy.
A review of a reported issue is separate from a paid specialist review of course content and does not mean that the original package was independently reviewed before delivery.
